🔍 Search for Sitters

Browse sitters in your city using the smart search. Filter by language, rating, and recent activity. Each sitter card shows their name, photo, rating, description, and online status.

👤 View Sitter Profiles

Open a sitter's profile to see their full description, photo gallery, languages they speak, pricing, cancellation policy, and reviews from other clients. You can message the sitter directly via Telegram.

📅 Create a Direct Booking

Found your sitter? Tap "Book" on their profile. Choose start and end dates, describe your pets, set the number of pets, add pet names, and write an optional message. The sitter will receive a notification and can accept or decline.

📋 Post on the Request Board

Don't have a specific sitter in mind? Post a request on the board with your dates, pet description, and city. Sitters in your area will see it and can respond with offers. You pick the best one.

📂 Manage Your Bookings

View all your bookings in "My Bookings". Each booking shows its status: pending, accepted, in progress, completed, cancelled, or disputed. You can:

  • Cancel a booking (when pending or accepted)
  • Edit booking dates and details
  • Mark a service as completed
  • Open a dispute if something went wrong
  • Message the sitter directly via Telegram

Leave Reviews

After a booking is completed, both sides leave reviews independently. Reviews are blind — they're only revealed once both parties have submitted or the review window closes. Rate from 1 to 5 stars and add an optional text review.

🐕 Manage Pet Names

Add your pet names to your profile. They'll be pre-filled when you create bookings, so you don't have to type them every time.

💬 Relay Chat

Chat with your sitter directly through the bot — no need to share phone numbers. Messages sent in the bot chat are automatically forwarded to the sitter. If you have multiple active bookings, the bot will ask you to select which one to chat about. Text messages only (up to 4,000 characters), photos are not supported in relay mode.

🔔 Notifications

The bot notifies you about every important event via Telegram messages:

  • Sitter accepted your booking
  • Sitter declined your request
  • Service started
  • Booking was cancelled
  • New response to your board post
  • Dates were changed
  • Reminder before upcoming booking

📊 Booking Statuses

Every booking goes through a lifecycle:

  • Pending — waiting for sitter's response
  • Accepted — sitter confirmed, service not yet started
  • In Progress — service is ongoing
  • Completed — service done, you can leave a review
  • Cancelled — booking was cancelled by either side
  • Disputed — issue reported, admin will review
  • Expired — sitter didn't respond in time

🆘 Support

Need help? Use the /support command in the bot to start a support session. Your messages will be forwarded to the support team. Use /endsupport when you're done. Admins can reply directly to your chat.

Guide for Pet Sitters

Set up your profile, receive bookings, and grow your pet-sitting business.

📝 Create Your Profile

Register as a sitter and fill in your profile: name, description, photos, languages you speak, city, pricing information, cancellation policy, social media links, and notes for clients. Your profile will be reviewed and approved before appearing in search.

📩 Receive Booking Requests

When a client books you directly, you'll receive a Telegram notification. Open "My Bookings" to see all incoming requests. You can view pet details, dates, and the client's message before accepting or declining.

📂 Manage Bookings

Track all your bookings with statuses. You can:

  • Start the service when the client's pet is with you
  • Cancel a booking (when pending or accepted)
  • Edit booking dates and details
  • Message the client directly via Telegram

Create Bookings for Clients

Have a regular client? Create a booking on their behalf. Enter the client's Telegram username, dates, pet info, and an optional message. If the client isn't registered yet, you can copy a bot invite link to send them.

Browse open requests from clients in your city. See pet details, dates, and client info. Respond to requests you're interested in. Clients will see your response and can select you as their sitter.

Reviews & Ratings

After a completed booking, leave a review for the client. The double-blind system ensures honest feedback — reviews are hidden until both parties submit. Good reviews boost your profile in search results.

Connect your Google Calendar or Apple Calendar to automatically sync bookings. The calendar view shows your availability by day (month and week views). Clients will see conflict warnings if they try to book you on busy days.

💬 Relay Chat

Communicate with clients through the bot without sharing personal contacts. Messages are automatically forwarded. Use /switch to change between multiple active bookings. Only text messages are supported (up to 4,000 characters).

Approval Process

After registration, your sitter profile goes through an admin approval process. You'll receive a notification in the bot once approved. Only approved sitters appear in search results and can accept bookings.

Bot Commands

Commands you can type in the bot chat. Available to all users.

▶️ /start

The entry point to the bot. Shows the main menu with two buttons: "Looking for a sitter" (opens Mini App as client) and "Become a sitter" (opens Mini App as sitter). The menu is localized in Russian and English. A quick-launch button "🐾 PetSitter" is also pinned next to the message input.

📋 /bookings

Shows all your active bookings — both as a client and as a sitter. For each booking you see the dates, counterpart, and status. Inline buttons let you open booking details in the Mini App. Also provides quick action buttons directly in the chat: accept, decline, start, complete, dispute.

🔄 /switch

Resets your active relay chat context. Use this when you have multiple active bookings and want to switch between them. After running /switch, the bot will ask you to select which booking you want to chat about next time you send a message.

📆 /calendar YYYY-MM 🛡️ PRO

Shows your free/busy slots for the specified month. Available only for sitters with a Pro subscription (feature: sitter_calendar). Without a subscription, the bot shows a message with a link to the subscription page. Example: /calendar 2026-05

🆘 /support

Starts a support session. After activation, all your text messages are forwarded to the on-call administrators. If no admins are on-call, you'll receive a corresponding message. Use this for any questions, issues, or disputes.

/endsupport

Ends the active support session. After this, your messages return to the regular relay chat mode for bookings.

General Features

💬 Relay Chat System

SittersBot acts as a secure message relay between clients and sitters. When you have an active booking, messages sent in the bot chat are forwarded to the other party. Features:

  • Automatic forwarding — one active booking means instant relay
  • Multiple bookings — inline keyboard to select which booking to chat about
  • Use /switch to change active booking context
  • Text only, up to 4,000 characters per message
  • All messages are saved for dispute resolution
  • Direct Telegram chat link also available in booking details

🔔 Notification System

The bot sends real-time Telegram notifications for every booking event. Notifications include inline action buttons so you can accept, decline, or manage bookings directly from the chat. A reliable queue system ensures no notification is lost.

📊 Booking Lifecycle

Bookings follow a strict lifecycle with status transitions:

  • Direct: Pending → Accepted → In Progress → Completed
  • Board: Pending (collecting responses) → Sitter Selected → Accepted → In Progress → Completed
  • Either side can cancel when Pending or Accepted
  • Client can open a dispute during In Progress — admin resolves
  • Unanswered bookings expire automatically (background scheduler)
  • Free plan: up to 3 bookings/month. PRO: unlimited

🌍 Localization

The bot and Mini App support multiple languages. The interface language is automatically detected from your Telegram settings. Bot commands and notifications are available in English and Russian. The Mini App supports English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Portuguese.

Timezone Support

Your timezone is automatically detected from your browser when you open the Mini App. This ensures accurate calendar display, booking reminders, and availability calculations regardless of where you are in the world.
